01 · Applications

Suitable for nearly all surfaces.

From brick to vehicle paint. Six areas of application.

  • BK

    Concrete, brick & stone

The most common use case. Graffiti on facades, walls and pavements made of concrete, brick, natural stone or marble. Extend the dwell time on porous surfaces.

  • MG

    Metal, glass & vehicles

On smooth surfaces the remover works especially fast, just 3 to 4 minutes of dwell time. On vehicles, always run a compatibility test on the paint first.

  • GH

    Coated surfaces & wood

On surfaces with an anti-graffiti coating the cleaning goes even faster. Also suitable for painted and unpainted wood.

  • SR

    Signs & noise barriers

Traffic signs, noise barriers, posts. Cleans reliably without attacking the reflective layer or the coating.

  • TR

    Transit & public transport

Stops, shelters, tunnels, trains and buses. Fast restoration of the public appearance.

  • IN

    Industry & logistics

Warehouses, container walls, gates, steel beams. Efficient for regular cleaning cycles in industrial settings.

02 · How it works

High paint-dissolving power, controlled material protection.

The remover lifts spray paints, acrylic and alkyd paints as well as permanent-marker tags out of the surface. The dwell time is matched to the substrate: 3 to 4 minutes on smooth surfaces, up to 15 minutes on porous substrates.

03 · Application

Five-step protocol.

Test, apply, dwell, remove, protect.

  1. 01

    Test compatibility

Test in an inconspicuous spot, especially on vehicle paint, wood and sensitive surfaces. Anti-graffiti coated surfaces are suitable as well.

    0.2 h
  2. 02

    Apply

Apply evenly with a brush, roller or sprayer. On vertical surfaces use the gel variant so the product does not run off.

    0.2 h
  3. 03

    Let it dwell

3 to 4 minutes on smooth surfaces, 10 to 15 minutes on porous substrates. Do not let it dry out, re-moisten if needed.

    3–15 min
  4. 04

    Remove

Wipe off with a soft cloth or sponge. On stubborn areas, brush in briefly and let it dwell once more.

    0.3 h
  5. 05

    Rinse & protect

Rinse clean with water. Then apply an anti-graffiti coating so that the next graffiti is much faster to remove.

    0.3 h

On anti-graffiti coated surfaces a water rinse is often already enough.Anti-graffiti coating →

05 · Frequently asked questions

Six answers.

Q01Which surfaces can I use the graffiti remover on?+

The graffiti remover is suitable for mineral surfaces (concrete, brick, stone, marble, wood), metal, glass and painted surfaces. On vehicles we recommend a compatibility test in an inconspicuous spot beforehand.

Q02Does the remover damage the surface?+

No, our graffiti remover is specially formulated to dissolve paints without attacking the surface underneath. Even on sensitive painted surfaces or glass it delivers excellent results without damage.

Q03How long does the remover need to dwell?+

On smooth surfaces about 3 to 4 minutes of dwell time is enough. On porous surfaces such as concrete or brick the dwell time should be extended to achieve an optimal result.

Q04How much graffiti remover do I need per square metre?+

Consumption is around 0.2 to 0.5 litres per square metre (200 to 500 ml/m²), depending on the surface and how heavy the graffiti is. That gives a coverage of 2 to 5 m² per litre.

Q05What do I do about paint shadows after cleaning?+

Any paint shadows that remain after cleaning can be removed with our dedicated NANO4YOU shadow remover. This gives you a completely residue-free result.

Q06Is the graffiti remover safe to use?+

It is a solvent-based specialty cleaner (dimethyl sulfoxide, ethyl acetate). Used properly with protective gloves, eye protection and adequate ventilation, it is safe to work with, outdoors or in well-ventilated rooms. The cleaner does not change the pH value of the substrate and is surface-friendly. Read the safety data sheet before first use.
