Spikes at the nanoscale.
Look at the shell of a beetle or the treated facades of the Vatican under an electron microscope and you see spikes at the nanoscale, about one billionth of a meter, which prevent dirt or water droplets from taking hold.
More than 20 years of research.
More than 20 years ago, specialists in Germany began to reproduce the lotus effect artificially. We researched intensively as well, from gold and silver for antibacterial properties to silicon dioxide, the main component of window glass. Today we use this active ingredient specifically as the basis for our nano-coatings.

Today we develop and produce high-performance nano-coatings for professional surface protection in Bexbach, Saarland. Our results are built on more than 25 years of experience in industrial manufacturing and the consumer sector.
The nano-scale particles and nano-structures react instantly with the substrate and essentially anchor themselves to it. Compared with wax or silicone, they form a physical bond with the surface.
